The KTS Macadam Triumph Factory Racing team are ready to get their 2026 road racing campaign underway, which roars into life next week at the North West 200 (6-9 May).

Making his racing debut with Kevin Watret’s KTS squad is Dom Herbertson, who will race the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS at the NW200 for the first time. With solid bike time gained during winter testing with the 765 in Spain and most recently at Oulton Park, Herbertson is keen to get started with the first Supersport practice session next Wednesday (6 May).

Alongside Herbertson on Triumph machinery will be Peter Hickman’s PHR Performance team, where Hickman himself will again be aboard the TROOPER by PHR Performance Street Triple 765 RS.

Hopeful to make his comeback after sustaining injuries at the Daytona 200 in March is Davey Todd, who is scheduled to ride the Street Triple 765 RS in the Supersport category, with Pierre Yves Bian sporting the all-new Swan Racing by PHR Performance livery. Yves Bian will also contest the Sportbike races aboard the Triumph Daytona 660 with teammate Barry Burrell.

The North West 200 ‘Triangle’ is 8.9 miles of public roads in Northern Ireland and is cited as one of the world’s fastest motorcycle road races. Traversing through Portstewart, Colerain and Portrush, the NW200 is known for high speeds and exciting racing.

The North West 200 gets underway next Wednesday with the first practice sessions from 9am (BST), racing takes place on Thursday 7 and Saturday 9 May. Click here for the full practice and race schedule.

Dom Herbertson:

“We’ve had a really good off-season, the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS is a new bike to me, but the KTS team have done an amazing job getting me up to speed. We have just finished with the BSB lads at Oulton Park. The pace there was incredible, especially being in with the Superstock guys, but the Triumph held its own. I’m having a great time with the KTS guys, the Triumph is amazing and roll on the North West 200 next week!”

Kevin Watret, Team Owner - KTS Macadam Triumph Factory Racing:

“It’s a really exciting time for us with Dom on the team for this year, he’s such a great character on and off the bike and he’s super keen to get going next week at the North West. He’s enjoyed good time on the bike during the off season, most recently at Oulton Park in preparation for the NW200, and he’s happy with the package that the Street Triple 765 offers.”

Ian Kimber, Head of Global Racing Programmes - Triumph Motorcycles:

“Triumph has a really good representation this year on the roads, from Kevin’s KTS team with Dom, through to Pete and his PHR Performance team. We have a real mix of talented riders across both the Supersport and Sportbike categories and hopefully we can enjoy good results across the two classes. Dom has managed to get crucial time with the bike during the off-season and just seeing his reaction when he comes in from a session says it all and he’s really enjoying the Street Triple. We’re looking forward to the start of the road racing season and seeing how everyone gets on, hopefully it’s good weather for the week and safe racing to all involved.”
