CM Triumph Factory Racing’s Bruno Ieraci secured his and Triumph Motorcycles’ Daytona 660’s first World Sportbike Championship podium today, crossing the line second in a frantic battle at Autodrom Most as the series resumed for round three of the 2026 season.

Friday’s action started promisingly, with all four riders [Bruno Ieraci, Elia Bartolini, Fenton Seabright and Harrison Dessoy] inside the top 15, Bartolini second and the PHR Performance Triumph duo in fourth and sixth.

Superpole proved to be another fruitful outing with both Seabright and Dessoy working together to secure a fourth and eighth-place grid slot. CM Triumph Factory Racing’s Ieraci would start race one from 13th with teammate Bartolini two places behind in 15th

Saturday’s opening race provided drama from the get-go, with Bartolini suffering a fall on the warm up lap, unfortunately collecting another rider in the process. Unhurt and his Triumph Daytona 660 undamaged, the Italian returned to the grid to take the start. But all eyes were on teammate Ieraci, who, after a strong getaway, cemented himself in the leading group. Demonstrating his lightning pace with three consecutive fastest laps, the number 18 machine struggled to work his way through the traffic, ultimately crossing the line in eighth place and securing pole position for Sunday’s second race. Meanwhile, Bartolini battled back to secure important points with a 13th place finish after completing two long lap penalties in the race.

The PHR Performance Triumph riders also made a strong start, with Seabright and Dessoy getting away with the leading riders. Sadly for Dessoy, contact from a rider behind on the opening lap ended his charge for a strong result, as he crashed out at turn 10. Thankfully unhurt, the youngster showed his determination, rejoining the race and riding to the chequered flag.

Back at the front, Seabright launched his podium bid, moving up to third on lap two before being shuffled back in the pack by the midway stage. Keeping his cool, the British rider battled it out to the very end, securing a strong seventh place and coming home as the lead Triumph Daytona 660.

On pole position for Sunday’s race, Ieraci was determined from the off, bolting into the lead of the race. From there, the Italian rider remained in the podium fight and showcased his feeling with the Daytona 660 to outbrake his rivals into turn one after being slipstreamed down the home straight.

Starting the final lap at the front of the field, a big slipstream from the riders behind demoted him to third, but a brave move on the brakes at the halfway stage of the lap saw him return to second. Lining up a race-winning move, the race win proved to be just out of reach, crossing the line second for a maiden podium. Teammate Bartolini crashed out on the opening lap, unfortunately collecting PHR Performance Triumph’s Fenton Seabright.

Harrison Dessoy battled back from a bruising crash in race one to secure a strong sixth place finish. The PHR Performance rider battled his way through the pack and secured his best finish of the season so far.

The FIM Sportbike World Championship returns to action in Aragon, Spain on May 29-31.

Bruno Ieraci, CM Triumph Factory Racing

“I’m so happy with the result today and the first podium for me and the Triumph Daytona 660. I’m satisfied with the weekend, we made a good result on Saturday and got pole position and then the first podium today. The race was crazy, lots of passes and battles but I’m happy to come out of it with a podium and important points. Thank you to the team CM Triumph Factory Racing and to the sponsors for their work and support. We now head to Aragon with extra motivation after this good result!”

Elia Bartolini, CM Triumph Factory Racing

“I’m not happy with the weekend’s race results because our speed was much more. The race on Saturday, we had a good pace but the two long lap penalties meant we couldn’t fight at the front. It was good to take a few points in race one. Unfortunately today I make a mistake into turn one and crash. I’m sorry to all the riders, also to Fenton for this. We will try again in Aragon.”

 Fenton Seabright, PHR Performance Triumph

“Race one was really good for us, finishing P7 and just a second off the win. I tried to just take as many points and learn as much as possible ahead of race two today, but unfortunately didn't get to put that to action. Today was unfortunate after being collected by another rider at the first corner. We couldn’t get to see what we could achieve today as I think we could’ve been right in the front group. Still, plenty of positives and we’re ready to bounce back in Aragon.”

 Harrison Dessoy, PHR Performance Triumph

“A great second race here in Most, P6! We had a hard fought battle in the second group just behind the leaders, which was really good to race and learn against some fast guys. It was a great experience and I’ve learned a few new skills which we can carry into Aragon. The PHR Performance Triumph team have done a mega job after the crash yesterday and a tough warm up this morning to bounce back with the result today. Onwards to Aragon.”
